Message from the President:
The season is fully underway with all leagues playing scheduled games. Opening Ceremonies was a blast-even though it was damp through out the day. Hats off to the Doug Tew Staff for keeping the fields playable and safe through the rain! Don’t forget how important the raffle tickets are as this is our major fund raiser. If any player needs more tickets as they try to attain the prize for most tickets sold-just see Charlie Bell for extras. Please offer a special thank you to the DAL Board that has worked extremely hard preparing for this 2008 season. Keep your eyes and ears open as the new ball fields will be discussed within the next two weeks and hopefully ready for play within the next two years. Please contact all of the commissioners and mayor when the presentation of the new fields is put out there. A special thank you to all the players, coaches, fans, umpires, and the complete support staff that makes this work. If you like the ball-park food and service: let the concession workers know it. Hope your season is everything you hoped for and more!!! |
